How to find the right club
Memberships are available immediately or within a short waiting period in most clubs throughout Victoria.
You need to think about different golf clubs near where you would prefer to play and contact the clubs, either in person or by telephone, and enquire about membership availability, cost and procedure for joining.
If you are just starting out in golf it is a good idea to have some coaching from a qualified coach. The PGA (Professional Golf Association) has many excellent coaches. Some are based at golf clubs, others at golf driving ranges. You have the choice of being part of a small group clinic or taking an individual lesson.
