Junior Averages Trophy
The Junior Averages Trophy is a scoring average system for all Victorian female amateur golfers under the age of 18. Each round completed by a player in an event categorised as either Junior or Open, as listed on the WGV Average/Ranking Calendar, is used in the calculation of that player's scoring average for the season. The winner of the Junior Averages Trophy is the player who has the lowest adjusted scoring average by the 30th June 2010.

A player is only eligible to win the Junior Averages Trophy if she has completed at least 20 of the total rounds available on the WGV Average/Ranking Calendar, of which 10 rounds must be from events categorized as Junior. The best 20 rounds for that player will be used to calculate their scoring average, and each round is adjusted to an AWCR/Rating of 72. To obtain a scoring average under the Junior Averages Trophy, a player must be under 18 years of age, enter the 2010-2011 WGV Average/Ranking Trophies, hold a Golf Australia handicap, and be a member of a WGV affiliated golf club.

2010-11 Conditions
1. The Junior Averages Trophy is awarded to the player (under 18 years of age as at the 31st July 2011) with the lowest adjusted scoring average for the season;
2. The averages collated for this trophy will include both Junior events and Open events as listed on the WGV Average/Ranking Calendar;
3. To be eligible to win the Junior Averages Trophy, a player must:
(a) Complete at least 20 rounds from the WGV Average/Ranking Calendar, of which 10 rounds must be from events categorized as Junior;
(b) Enter the State Ranking Trophy by completing the 2010/2011 Average/Ranking Trophies entry form within the specified time frame;
(c) Be a member of an affiliated golf club;
(d) Hold an official Golf Australia handicap;
(e) Be under 18 years of age as at 31st July 2011
4. All scores will be adjusted to an AWCR/Rating of 72;
5. The Winner of the Junior Averages Trophy will represent Victoria at the 2011 Greg Norman Junior International Championship (NB: WGV Representation Conditions apply as outlined on the entry form);
6. Trophies will be awarded to the Winner and Runner-up (Gross) in the following categories - Junior Averages Trophy, Under 18, U16 and U14, as at the conclusion of the 2011 Victorian Amateur Championship.
NB: WGV has the right to adjust the required number of rounds played as necessary. Any adjustments will be communicated to all participants.
