The High Performance Golf program is aimed at increasing the depth and competitiveness of female golfers representing Victoria.

The program offers a sound high performance pathway to allow athletes to monitor progress and aim for selection into the Victorian Institute of Sport, Golf Australia National Squad and Australian Institute of Sport.

State Teams

Being selected to represent Victoria is the pinnacle of WGV's High Performance golf program.

Each year WGV announces a Victorian State Team and a Victorian Junior State Team. In September 2010, the Victorian State Team will travel to MacLeod GC, QLD to contest the Australian Women's Interstate Series. The team of six players play foursomes and singles matchplay against the best players from each State of Australia.

In April 2011, the Victorian Junior State Team will contest the Australian Junior Interstate Series. The Series will be played at Horizons GC and Pacific Dunes GC, New South Wales.
