Bronze Teams
2012 Results
Bronze Teams' Cup goes to Riversdale!
It was an early start for the 81 women representing 27 clubs from all over Victoria. Despite the heavy rain from last week, Heidelberg was presented in very good condition and, as usual, their hospitality was second to none. Defending champions, Croydon GC, made their best effort and, despite scoring a great 96 points, came up a bit short. They took the runner up position behind Riversdale GC who were the deserving winners with a 102 point total. Commonwealth member Anne Shein had the best individual score with 42 points! Congratulations to all the winners!
Special thanks to Heidelberg Golf Club, its Captain Janette Borgolotto, her committee and staff for their efforts to make the day so enjoyable for the participants and Golf Victoria alike.

About
The Bronze Teams' Stableford Event was first played in 1967 and was won by Yarra Yarra. The event was introduced to provide higher handicap markers the opportunity to play in a State level event. Each Club may enter a team of three players with handicaps ranging from 19 to 38 inclusive.
The team with the highest aggregate points will be presented with the Cup whilst the best and second best individual scores will receive trophy orders.
