About
The International Bowl is a national amateur event that supports Australia's presence at International amateur golf events. All clubs are asked to support this event.
The winners of each division are awarded with a trophy donated by Golf Australia in memory of Florence Green.
Competition Procedure
The 2010 International Bowl is a club event open to members and club visitors.
Each club is to arrange up to three (3) stroke rounds, one of which may be held on the weekend fro players unable to play midweek. The rounds are to be nominated as International Bowl events.
There will be three divisions available to players to compete within:
Silver Division: 0-18 Handicaps
Bronze 1 Division: 19-36 Handicaps
Bronze 2 Division: 37-45 Handicaps
The winner in each Division at each club will be determined by the number of strokes (if any) by which the course rating has been beaten.
Clubs are then required to complete the International Bowl entry form, attach the photocopies of winning cards and return it with all funds raised to WGV.
