Silver Spoon
2012 Club Entry Form
2011 Results
Friday 28 October was the day that over 135 winners of their respective Club's Silver Spoon events arrived at Waverley Golf Club to play for the case of silver spoons.
The weather was not too kind – the wee zephyr blowing around 80 kph making life tricky for the players and the quick Waverley greens adding to the toughness.
Despite the conditions, young 12 year old Hannah Searle from Mallacoota, playing off a handicap of 39, had a tremendous round with 39 points and lead the field following the morning rounds. Running close behind, Suzanne Stephenson, Flinders GC and Susan Vasey, Croydon GC both had highly respectable scores of 36 points.

The afternoon weather remained as unkind to the players as they took to the course again. In fact – at the very end the rain drenched the final holes. Most players battled on and congratulations must go to Shirley Roberts from Pakenham who had a remarkable score of 36 points for the afternoon round.
Well done Hannah who held on to win the 2011 Silver Spoon!
