The Women's Golf Network was created in 2001 by WGV to provide all women with the opportunity of playing or learning to play the game of golf.

WGN operates like a virtual Golf Club providing an annual calendar of 9 and 18 hole events, clinics, rules and etiquette guidance, and a GolfLink card with access to online handicapping information.

The Women's Golf Network (WGN) was created in 2001 by Women's Golf Victoria to provide all women with the opportunity of playing or learning to play the game of golf.

WGN operates like a virtual Golf Club providing:
  • A Calendar of Events at private and public courses, mid week and weekends across Metropolitan Victoria
  • 18 and 9 hole events
  • Support and guidance during the events with golf etiquette instruction (provided by the WGN Manager)
  • Assistance to obtain and maintain an official Golf Australia handicap, allowing members to play in official competitions anywhere in Australia
  • A GolfLink card with online access to handicap information
  • Information on and/or coordination of golf clinics
  • Rules seminars
  • Information updates through the year
  • Pathway to Golf Club membership
